I’m happier with today’s attempt. I was quite discouraged after my version of the 11th and couldn’t bring myself to practice yesterday. Today I went back to the Lo Fi audio and did a ‘listen and repeat’, but without the distraction of trying to read a transliteration whiel I did it. I’m still strugling to get the shape and texture of the words in my head, and I feel this shows in my hesitancy and inconsistent cadence. This recording also had to be more highly edited than the others because of long pauses, a repeated word where I lost track of what I was doing, and a ‘click’ the mic kept picking up as I navigated Audacity while recording.
